My first ‘favourites of the month’ post… Here’s a list of the beauty products I couldn’t stop using in January!
ORIGINS: ZERO OIL TRIO – TONER (£16.50 at most drug-/department stores)
I’ve been using the face wash and the moisturiser for a long time now, but after purchasing the toner, I finally have the complete ‘Zero Oil’ trio from Origins and I cannot stop using them! The toner is absolutely amazing if you’re super oily and it’s helped to shrink my pores and even out my skin tone. In combination with the other two products, it’s even better! You can read about my review of the other two in this post.
NEUTROGENA: VISIBLY CLEAR CLEANSING WIPES: (£4.19 at Boots)
I don’t know what it is about these, but they are my favourite wipes I’ve used so far. Sadly, they’re very pricey, but luckily, are on offer at Boots right now (2 for £5 on all Neutrogena products) so I have stocked up! They do sting your eyes a little bit (probably the grapefruit), but my face feels fresh and clean after using them! I’ve definitely noticed much clearer skin (blemish wise) and I even think they help combat my oily skin!
MILANI: CONCEAL & PERFECT FOUNDATION: (£13 at Beauty Bay)
My new best friend! The coverage (medium-full) and wear time on this foundation is amazing, especially for a drugstore product! I’ve worn this for numerous nights out and it has not failed me! It’s also great for my skin type and helps keep the oils at bay during the day!
KAT VON D: SHADE AND LIGHT CONTOUR PALETTE (£37 at Debenhams)
I finally got my hands on this and I haven’t stopped using it since. I pretty much use it everyday and it hasn’t disappointed! The powders are so pigmented and bendable, a little goes a long way! I just wish they sold the pans separately in the UK soon, as I don’t want to fork out to buy a whole new palette! I also got this Ted Baker brush in a Christmas set and it works so well with the palette!
ABH: MODERN RENAISSANCE PALETTE: (£41 at Beauty Bay)
Of course, everyone’s favourite! I recently got this from Beauty Bay and I can’t stop using it. The pigment and butteriness of these shades is insane – I can see why everyone loves it! The only thing which could be better about this palette is the brush. Aside from that, it’s definitely earned a spot in my all-time favourites!
MILANI: AMORE MATTE LIP CRÉME – LOVED: (£10 at Beauty Bay)
As I stated in my Milani Lip Matte review, I only have great things to say about this liquid lipstick! If you want to know why, you can read it here.
NAILS INC: WHITE HORSE STREET: (£14 at Debenhams)
I am in love with Nails Inc.’s formula and their colours, I just wish they weren’t so expensive! Luckily, I got this one for Christmas! I’ve had this on for just under two weeks, without a top coat, and somehow, it’s hardly chipped! As for the shade, I’m such a fan of really light colours – it’s the perfect cool-toned, lilac-y, off-white!
